Your Compeat Profile: Making Sense of Your Results!

So, you’ve got your Compeat profile—but now what? This profile digs into your survey responses, showing how your daily habits might be affecting your health, fitness, and overall lifestyle. Whether you’re wondering why certain things feel harder than they should or looking for ways to prevent injury, improve your relationship with food, or just feel better day-to-day, understanding your profile is the first step toward making real improvements. Let’s explore what each section reveals and how even small changes can have a big impact.

1. Health & Wellbeing Profile:

Do you often worry about eating “right” or feel guilty after enjoying certain foods? Maybe you’re unhappy with your body and feel pressure to control your weight. These feelings can be draining, leaving you frustrated and stuck in a cycle of forcing yourself to exercise just to “burn off” what you ate.
You’re not alone.

If your Compeat profile flagged a High Risk, it may mean your relationship with food and body is taking a toll on your energy, mood, your day to day decision making and making it hard to enjoy food & listen to your body’s needs and preventing you from feeling, fuelling and being your best self – If you have a high risk for Health and Wellbeing, it could be ideal to reach out to the team to find some support and ensure you’re on that positive path to success.

A Moderate Risk means you’re managing for now, but what we could be seeing are the prelim factors for bigger challenges over time. Particularly if they persist or remain unchallenged. Over-exercising or restricting food long-term, alongside other mental health challenges, can lead to high risk issues growing.

2. Injury Potential:

If you’ve struggled with injuries—sprains, strains, or worse—you know how frustrating it is. Our Injury profile looks to consider not just your injury history, but also how likely you are to face another setback. A High-Risk Injury score in your Compeat Profile suggests that, due a number of performance nutrition factors, without intervention there is a likelihood for re-injury or sustaining further injury in the future. A daunting prospect as both a development, recreational or elite athlete. A Moderate Risk means you might be pushing through and not had such a injury plagued History. There are however early signs of factors that we see that if unsupported can lead to injury and (development impact) in the medium to long term.

Preventing future injuries means making sure your body is getting what it needs to recover, heal and stay strong, resilient, and moving forward, injury-free. In supporting these Risks managing the areas of concern and ensure you’re armed with the knowledge, tools and expertise is key to managing your injury risk, being available to play while developing & performing at your best.

3. Development & Performance Risk:

Feeling constantly drained, unable to perform, and like you can’t keep up with day-to-day life? Maybe your energy is low, you’re having trouble focusing, or you’re just not feeling like yourself. If this hits home, your Development and Performance Risk might be telling you that your food, fuelling & eating habits are affecting your ability to develop, perform and function day to day.

Combining multiple factors through our profiling data; including elements of Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (REDS) and Energy Availability (LEA) a High-Risk Rating it could mean you’re not fuelling properly. Whether conscious or unconscious, this increases your risk of poor physical development, lack of progress in training, and feeling constantly tired & burnt out alongside other health issues. Long term, this could impact not just your athletic goals but your overall quality of life. Making it harder to keep up with work, family, or personal goals. If you’ve identified high risk challenges it is recommended to seek support from an accredited professional.

A Moderate Risk profile suggests that while things may be manageable now, there are early signs that without management, they could shift to higher risk challenges.

4. Event Readiness:

Focus all about event related challenges and your past event, competitions, races, or even local sports experiences, if you have identified a High or Medium Risk here, it means that there are definite opportunities to improve your event strategies, to ensure you perform your best. These issues often come down to how you prepare before events and manage your nutrition during them. Ensuring the right expertise specific to your sport, ensures you receive the relevant expertise to manage your event needs. Whether that be timing, hydration, or stress management, we strive to ensure you can approach your next event with confidence.
