Melbourne Victory Partners with Compeat Nutrition to dial-up player performance on and off the field
Melbourne Victory, an A-League Club, announced a new partnership with Compeat Nutrition. The Australian start-up transforms how elite sports teams manage player performance and wellbeing.
This partnership will deliver Compeat’s digital health platform to Melbourne Victory’s Men’s, Women’s, and Academy players in October.
Melbourne Victory Director of Football, John Didulica, expressed his enthusiasm: “We’re excited to bring the Compeat difference to all of our athletes at Melbourne Victory.
“Compeat’s platform provides incredible insights into player health, wellbeing, and performance risks.
“This new approach helps us support players individually and collaboratively. It manages environmental factors that influence mental and physical performance.
“Our club aims to field the best team each week. We also strive to prepare our athletes for success beyond football. The Compeat solution is a key part of that strategy.”
Compeat Nutrition delivers its platform through an app. Players gain 24/7 access to tools, resources, and support from a performance dietitian. This system fosters skills and positive behaviours, improving resilience, recovery, and mental health.
Alicia Edge, Co-founder and Co-CEO of Compeat Nutrition, shared her excitement: “After a successful rollout with Football Australia, we’re pleased to work with forward-thinking clubs like Melbourne Victory.
“Gone are the days of skin fold tests, weight measures, and restrictive diets. These approaches harm mental health and performance.
“Our data shows that resilient players, with fewer injuries, make informed decisions about fuelling their bodies. This occurs both in team environments and daily life.
“We look forward to the Women’s and Men’s season with Melbourne Victory and growing our impact across their programs.”
