Every year, I can’t help but get excited about the abundance of delicious summer fruit. And what better way to enjoy it than by transforming it into super simple smashed pavlova cups?
This Smashed Pavlova Cups recipe is not only incredibly easy to make but also ready in under five minutes.
And what a huge bonus that is, right? After the year we’ve had, we all deserve a bit of chill time. Personally, I know I’ll need a pre-Christmas nap to recover from all the stress and a post-Christmas nap to digest all the food! Thankfully, this easy dessert is here to save the day. Even better, it’s extremely versatile.
You can customise this recipe to suit just about any personal preference, so why not get creative? Use any fruit combinations you love, and feel free to add some whipped cream for that authentic pavlova experience.
Ingredients
Serves: 2
4 mini meringue nest
1 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt of your choosing
Fruit of your choice, I used:
Strawberries, raspberries & blueberries (a handful of each)
1 each of kiwifruit, passionfruit & nectarine
Steps
1.Wash and cut fruit into slices
2. Crush meringue into small pieces
3. In an empty glass layer sliced fruit, yogurt and crushed meringes. Repeat! Done!
