The holiday season is upon us. This means more sunlight, warm days, seafood, family time, and summer fruit! Every year I get excited about delicious summer fruit, and what better way to enjoy it than to make it into a super simple smashed pavlova cups!
This Smashed Pavlova Cups recipe is super easy to make, ready in under five minutes!
What a huge bonus am I right? We all know we deserve some chill time after the year that we just had. (Cough, cough… two years) I don’t know about you but I am going to need a pre-Christmas nap from the unprecedented stress and then a post-Christmas nap from all the food. Thank goodness for this easy dessert that also just so happens to be extremely versatile.
We can suit just about any personal preference with this one, so get creative!
Use whatever fruit combinations you would like and feel free to use some whipped cream for that authentic pavlova taste!
Ingredients
Serves: 2
4 mini meringue nest
1 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt of your choosing
Fruit of your choice, I used:
Handful of strawberries
Handful of raspberries
Handful of blueberries
1 kiwifruit
1 passionfruit
1 nectarine
Steps
1.Wash and cut fruit into slices
2. Crush meringue into small pieces
3. In an empty glass layer sliced fruit, yogurt and crushed meringes. Repeat! Done!
